For ICEBERG Vodka we use grain alcohol straight from the French Champagne region. The alcohol is made of European winter wheat and is distilled 5 times in multiple distil columns in order to reach the highest purity rate. This premium alcohol in combination with the purest water makes our vodka unique.
After we found the right techniques to bottle the most pristine water in the world, we went to Herman Jansen, one of the oldest distilleries in the world, where the finest spirits have been born. A company with hundreds of years of experience and together with master distiller Ad van der Lee, we created ICEBERG vodka.
Our journey started with taking one kind of alcohol that is thereafter tested with different waters, including reversed osmosis water, which is known for its purity. The results were presented to a panel and the Vodka with ICEBERG Water stood our for its softness. Nevertheless, we continued to look for other varieties of alcohol for even better results. Quality really comes to the details, therefore we also applied a specific filtering process. We don’t use any silicones but a special filtration technic where we use carbon from coconut husks. All these different techniques and ingredients lead to the desirable result.
